He operates with intention, planning, and what might be the most unsettling feature a supernatural threat can have: real cooperation with another entity. --- ## About Christoph He works with his sibling [Delaphene](https://llitd.com/delaphene-world-on-fire). That coordination — two greater demons acting in concert, dividing tasks, playing different roles in the same operation — is what elevates him beyond a standard threat. Demons that think and plan and collaborate are far more dangerous than the kind that just want to consume or destroy. He takes the form of a doctor. It's a deliberate choice — authority, trust, the kind of environment that lowers a person's guard automatically. The trap he helps construct is sophisticated enough to work, which tells you something about what kind of intelligence is running underneath the surface. Greater demons sit in a specific tier of the *World on Fire* hierarchy: above lesser entities that can be handled with enough preparation, below the Demon Lords who operate at a different scale entirely. That middle position makes them uniquely dangerous — powerful enough to cause serious damage, smart enough to avoid being immediately recognizable as a threat. --- ## Personality Strategic. Patient. Willing to work toward a longer-term objective instead of acting on immediate impulse. The sibling dynamic with Delaphene suggests something rare — a relationship, coordination, shared purpose between entities that usually act alone. He appears in the *World on Fire* series as part of the escalating supernatural threat the main characters are working to understand and stop. --- The World on Fire books are part of Lincoln Cole's [connected fiction universe](https://llitd.com/lincoln-cole-reading-order-the-complete-connected-universe-guide) — five series that share characters and lore. *Christoph is a character in the* [*World on Fire*](https://llitd.com/tag/world-on-fire/) *series by Lincoln Cole.* Wish you could get paper copies of my books?
