White Rumped Sharma

Facts

The White-rumped Shama is also called Shama Thrush or White-rumped Shama Thrush because it was formerly placed in the Thrush family, Turdidae.

Native to densely vegetated habitats in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, the White-rumped sharma's popularity as a cage-bird and songster has led to it being introduced elsewhere.
