Hey,

Quick one. If you haven't been into the Veil yet, **Last Light in the Dark** is still free to read in Kindle Unlimited — and the early reviews are doing the thing where they make me nervous and grateful at the same time.

It's a military salvage crew dropped into a solar system that absolute darkness has swallowed whole. Their dropship gets destroyed, so they descend — into impossible corridors, an ancient alien city, a supersoldier two hundred years gone in the dark, and a child survivor named Kate who is somehow tied to a song none of them should be able to hear.
