Epilogue. Haatim and Abigail recover after the battle. Haatim can't explain his channeling power. Abigail calls Frieda to report success and request cleanup. She reveals Belphegor was connected to the demon holding Arthur and was searching for something at the old Church site.

Abigail confronts Belphegor in the factory. The demon offers to return Arthur alive in exchange for retrieving a hidden knife from the mine tunnels. Abigail refuses the deal to preserve Arthur's ideals. The demon attacks with devastating telekinetic power, hurling machinery and tools.

Abigail hunts Belphegor through town. She sends Haatim away in a hot-wired car. She tracks the demon to a motel where Desiree (Bret's mother, driven insane) reveals Bret was taken to the factory.

George's people attack Haatim's apartment. Abigail gives Haatim a poison vial to prevent demon possession. The mark on his arm means he's been claimed by demon Abaddon as a replacement vessel. Abigail fights off attackers and warns Haatim: no eating, drinking, or making deals.

Abigail brings Haatim home after rescuing him. She confirms she killed George. Haatim's arm mark means demon Abaddon has claimed him as a replacement vessel. Abigail prepares to head to Raven's Peak.

Haatim follows Abigail through Phoenix. Abigail eliminates George Wertman, a Ninth Circle sex trafficker. Haatim discovers a mysterious sore on his arm and encounters a reanimated corpse. Frieda contacts Abigail about unusual activity in Raven's Peak, Tennessee.

Haatim visits Ocotillo Library in Phoenix, encounters old classmate Kelly, meets nervous George Wertman who believes a woman named Abigail is stalking him. Haatim agrees to photograph her. First hint of Haatim's supernatural sensitivity when studying Abigail's photo.

Arthur (The Reverend) is broken out of a black-site prison by Frieda after 5 years. They fly to the Smoky Mountains to confront a demon possessing his adopted daughter Abigail.
