Raven's Peak

Interlude chapter providing different perspective or flashback. May show cult operations, demon activities, or background on the conspiracy. Builds tension before major confrontation.

Abigail lies to Frieda about her location while heading to Colorado instead of Raven's Peak. At a playground, they find Sara, one of the three girls from the Church. Abigail performs a forbidden bridging ritual to connect to the demon holding Arthur through Sara's claiming scar.

Abigail captures Delaphene and brings her to the car. They head toward Arthur's cabin in the Colorado mountains. Haatim processes his sister Nida's death from cancer. Abigail interrogates Delaphene who reveals Aram had a deal with Abaddon and an unknown woman was asking about Arthur.

The fake hospital is revealed as a warehouse. Abigail rescues Haatim, fighting the demon doctor (Christoph). Delaphene (the nurse demon) escapes briefly but Abigail captures her after a rooftop chase. Haatim confirms his father is Aram Malhotra.

Haatim wakes in a fake hospital (Ninth Circle trap). The doctor and nurse (Delaphene) try to get him to eat, drink, and make deals. The mark on his arm disappears after the poison takes effect. Separately, Frieda and Aram discuss the situation - revealing Haatim is Aram's son.

Arthur Vangeest (The Reverend) is imprisoned in an underground cell where he ritually whips himself every morning. Guards bring news that Frieda has come to visit. Arthur is shown as broken and dangerous, capable of instantly subduing guards. The prologue establishes his self-destructive state...
