Thomas enters the desecrated chapel where the transformation ritual began seven hundred years ago. He encounters an eternally looping priest who endlessly delivers a warning too late to prevent the curse.

Thomas studies seven massive stained glass windows chronicling King Aldrics reign. Windows show propaganda but flickering light reveals truth: Eleanors fear, Elises suffocating performance, Aldrics transformation from grief to obsession, knights confusion, incomplete ritual failure.

Thomas enters King Aldrics private chamber where the king removed his mask. The bed remains unmade from the night of the ritual with dried tears. He finds dozens of letters to Elise and an unfinished letter to Eleanor revealing plans to transform her too.

Thomas discovers the Royal Archives hidden behind the throne room containing scrolls and books documenting King Aldrics descent into madness. He reads Father Dominics original confession about the altars discovery and failed transformation.
