Thomas descends the basement stairs methodically, using EMT training to assess threats. The construction shifts from Victorian to ancient rough-cut blocks - Harrow built on top of something older. Walls sweat a blood-like liquid. Mirrored footsteps track him two steps behind.

Thomas returns to the music room and meets Violet, who shares her story. When he sits at the piano, memories of Sarah singing on long shifts surface. He plays clumsy notes for Violet, giving her a moment of peace, then learns about the Heart that must be destroyed to free the trapped souls.

Thomas explores the manor first floor: foyer with breathing door, dining hall sandwich trap, tar portal testing, hidden study with newspaper clippings (100+ victims), experimental ledger, ham radio with four channels, and property map showing underground complex.

Thomas discovers hidden study, meets Harrow's grief-ghost, reads journals spanning 1952-1987. After the butler fight, the real Harrow manifests—not the weeping residue but the controlling intelligence.

Thomas teleported to underground facility by tar. Discovers Harrow's experiments. Harrow speaks through PA system, directly addressing Thomas as Subject 152, invoking Sarah's name, and directing creatures. Thomas escapes through hatch.

Thomas explores second floor, meets ghost child Violet in music room. When Violet names Dr. Harrow, the manor shudders in response. Thomas encounters void gnome.

Thomas wakes in attic with amnesia, finds weapons and a clinical note from H identifying him as Subject 152. After fleeing mannequins, an intercom broadcasts Harrow's voice documenting Thomas's progress like a lab subject.
