Anubis test - JUDGMENT. Anubis weighs the raiders guilty, then transforms chamber into void. Presents Thomas impossible choice: restore one dead innocent soul OR keep protecting three guilty raiders. Thomas rejects the choice entirely, refusing to play god.

Hall of Gods entrance. Thomas approaches Ra statue which radiates heat and light. Ra tests Thomas on PURPOSE - why he disturbs the temple. Thomas shares his mission and past victories. Ra reveals pharaoh crime: rejected maat, daughter Merit-Amen died naturally but pharaoh refused to accept death.

Thomas leads surviving raiders Jennifer, Dawit, and Priya. Major revelation: they are actually echoes of his own failed iterations. Jennifer gave up at 200 iterations, Dawit accepted transformation, Priya stopped trying. Thomas is unique for maintaining both humanity AND agency.

Thomas follows tomb raiders fleeing through temple. Discovers bodies in various states - one with throat torn, one being embalmed alive, one being wrapped in bandages while still conscious. Active horror showing temple claiming new victims.

Long gallery tells pharaohs complete life story in hieroglyphs. Shows capable ruler, loving father, then daughters illness and death. Some panels deliberately defaced to hide what came after tragedy. History preserved but corrupted.

Queen chamber. Pharaoh awareness guards room possessively. Thomas repels with Violet memory - morning after miscarriage, packing nursery. Queen Nefertari-Merit shares daughter story, pharaoh descent into forbidden knowledge, her suicide choice. Delivers message for Thomas to carry.

Thomas finds an offering chamber with impossible fresh offerings maintained for three thousand years. He meets a senior priest ghost who reveals twelve priests who condemned the pharaoh now eternally guard the temple by their own choice.

Thomas meets Nefret, a handmaiden ghost from the pharaoh's court, who assisted in the pharaoh's transformation ritual. She reveals 847 souls trapped in the temple. The pharaoh's awareness seeps through stone, but Violet's memory burns him—his greatest weakness is honest grief.

Thomas enters the Hall of Gods where statues of Egyptian deities manifest and speak. Ra, Anubis, Osiris, and others discuss divine judgment, free will, and justice. They confirm the pharaoh's condemnation is just but explain they cannot prevent choice.
