Dominick returns to the estate to find it under attack. Power is down, guards are dead, and he discovers a grotesque insectoid creature—a demon-possessed entity—killing guards and staff. He narrowly escapes by freezing it with kitchen fire and hiding in the walk-in freezer.

Haatim arrives in Cambodia after expelling his first demon in Rome. He feels hopeful about saving his sister Nida but is exhausted from travel. His driver Savin takes him to a hotel.
