Christoph is a Greater Demon — a step above the standard malevolent entity that demon hunters deal with regularly, and considerably harder to put down. About Christoph

He works with his sibling Delaphene. That coordination — two greater demons acting in concert, dividing tasks, playing different roles in the same operation — is what elevates him beyond a standard threat. Demons that think and plan and collaborate are far more dangerous than the kind that just want to consume or destroy.

He takes the form of a doctor. It's a deliberate choice — authority, trust, the kind of environment that lowers a person's guard automatically. The trap he helps construct is sophisticated enough to work, which tells you something about what kind of intelligence is running underneath the surface.

Greater demons sit in a specific tier of the World on Fire hierarchy: above lesser entities that can be handled with enough preparation, below the Demon Lords who operate at a different scale entirely. That middle position makes them uniquely dangerous — powerful enough to cause serious damage, smart enough to avoid being immediately recognizable as a threat.
