Christoph is the kind of demon who commits to the bit. If you're going to infiltrate a hospital, you wear the doctor's coat properly. You learn the terminology. You make the role convincing enough that no one looks twice until it's too late to look at all.

About Christoph

Christoph is a greater demon — a named entity with history, which puts him in a different category than the typical possession case. Named demons have been around long enough to accumulate purpose, personality, and a track record. Christoph has all three.

He works with his sibling, Delaphene. Together they construct an elaborate trap around Haatim — the fake hospital scenario is one of the series' genuinely unsettling set pieces, because everything about it looks right until the wrongness seeps in at the edges.

A possessed doctor in a hospital that isn't quite what it appears to be. It's the kind of threat that's hard to fight because you're not sure, at first, what you're actually fighting.

Personality

Christoph is intelligent and methodical. Greater demons don't typically operate impulsively — there's too much investment in the long game for that. He plays his role carefully, maintains his cover, and constructs the trap with patience.

The sibling dynamic with Delaphene adds something interesting — a relationship that functions, that has its own internal logic and apparent loyalty, even within the framework of entities that are fundamentally monstrous. It humanizes the threat in the most unsettling possible way.

Character Arc

Christoph's story in the series is contained and purposeful. He appears, constructs the trap, the trap has consequences, and everything that follows from that encounter ripples outward into the larger story.

Whether he ultimately succeeds in what he was trying to accomplish — that's something the series addresses.
