Every good trap has multiple moving parts. While Christoph played the doctor, Delaphene played the nurse — and the thing about Delaphene is that she played it perfectly. Unhurried. Attentive. Present in all the ways someone in that role should be present.

About Delaphene

Delaphene is a greater demon, a named entity, Christoph's sibling and partner. Named demons carry history and intention in a way that lesser possessions don't. Delaphene knows what she is, knows what she's doing, and doesn't particularly need to justify either.

The hospital setup is a collaboration — Christoph has the lead role, Delaphene supports it, and together they create something that functions as a complete system. That's what makes greater demons particularly dangerous: they can coordinate. They can plan together across time and execute with patience.

The trap they build around Haatim is specific and deliberate. Everything about it looks right until it doesn't. That gap between looks-right and is-wrong is where the horror lives.

Personality

Delaphene is calm. The calmness isn't a performance exactly — it's more that the urgency humans associate with threat doesn't apply to her in the same way. She's operating on a scale where one interaction, one trap, one confrontation is a small thing in a much longer existence.

The sibling bond with Christoph is genuine within its own terms. They work together because they function well together. Whatever passes for loyalty between named demons, they have it.

Character Arc

Delaphene's role in the series is specific and complete. She arrives, she executes, the consequences of the trap play out. The resolution of her story is part of what shapes the larger narrative in ways you'll understand when you get there.
